More Prayers from Studying Ezra
Prayer from Ezra 7
We thank you that Jesus is our great high priest and because of His priesthood we have full access to the Throne room of the Great King and we have been granted, as joint heirs with Christ, full access to the kingdom.
We thank You that Your good hand is upon us. We ask that you give us a love of Your word and a heart to study it, that we would be Bereans and that we would be doers and teachers of the Word as well.
Let our lives be freely offered to You in our service, our time and our finances, so that we would provide whatever is required for the house of God to be built and maintained.
Lord, help us to work at this with all diligence to our full capacity for You and You alone.
We thank You for Your favor and grace and for extending Your steadfast love toward us through Christ.
Give us a revelation of Your hand on us so that we would be filled with courage to rally Your people to do Your work alongside us!
AMEN
Prayer from Ezra 8
O Father, We thank You for Your grand plan of sonship through Jesus! Only You could be so brilliant and wise!
You are our Great Provider of all things good and glorious. Through You and You alone, we flourish as You pour forth Your river of life.
We thank You that Jesus showed up on the cross - that He IS our faithful high priest and that He did not forsake us even though it was difficult- but He put His trust in Your goodness.
Help us to sacrifice our will and our way and trust in Your goodness that we too would be a faithful to You and to the people of God, living laid down lives of great sacrifice for the cause of Christ.
Give us wise counsel we ask. We thank You that You have ordained us as ministers of God by Your good hand.
We cry out to You humbly and ask, that as we fast and pray, You would grant us safety on our course.
Thank You that we can come, unashamed before You and ask for anything, knowing that Your good wise answers may be; no, not now or even yes!
We ask for Your divine protection as we traverse through the enemy's territory, setting people free by the power of Your mighty right arm, Jesus.
We implore You, O God who listens!
Thank You for setting us apart. You are holy and what You consecrate IS holy.
Guard us as we pray.
We thank You that You have delivered us from the hand of our enemy and we ask that You protect us from his ambushes along the way of our lives and the lives of our families and friends.
We have come out of captivity but we are still exiles awaiting our deliverance from these corrupt frames.
We offer sacrifices of praise and await Your glorious return, when we will be glorified by You, with much anticipation and fear.
AMEN
