This article was titled " The Laugh of Faith ". It says, When God's enemies gather together against Him, He sits in heaven and laughs. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End (Rev 1:8) , so He already knows how things are going to turn out. If we are being led by God's Spirit, we can laugh also. We spend too much time in our thoughts looking at what is taking place now instead of looking at the finish line. Think of all the other things God has done for you. You had to wait for them also. All week God has put in front of my face people (at least 4) that have acknowledged the need to remember what He has done in our lives. As I have shared my life's history and where the LORD has brought me from I am compelled to share. God is speaking and He is saying as he has said in the past, "Remember what I have done and remember what I have promised." My mom was promised that her son Wade would come to know Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior and would live a life serving HIM! I spoke with her last week about things that God had specifically spoken to her about her children's lives. We were amazed to discover what God had said about me has come to pass in so many ways. This served as an encouragement to us as we talked about that we cannot go by what the situation looks like at this moment but we need to look to the promises that He has promised as well as revisit those things that God has done that are amazing! Today Caleb chose a specific verse and I am not sure really how to deal with it out of context but I love that he is getting specific and listening intently and digesting as best as his little spirit can, the word of God. I know that as with Shannon, in church and listening to bluegrass songs, that were steeped in the word that it does not matter if his spirit deciphers the content because God promises that his word will not return to Him void. Like a boomerang! It goes out and comes back to him but when it is coming back it has actually accomplished something even if it knocks someone off their feet!
