Are You Finding Fault With God?

Unlike the natural process, the wet process exposes the bean to the atmosphere which leaves the bean with only the parchment between it and the elements.
Who makes this decision to put the coffee through one process or another? The farmer usually has the final say on which process his bean should go through in order that he get the most desired result from the coffee that he has tended to for about 3 months.

With much care and concern for the final product the farmer makes the decision about which process and proceeds to do the necessary work required to strip any and all evidence of this once familiar flesh from the seed.
Does the bean rise up in protest when the farmer makes the call to put it through the rough process of stripping away the cherry?
Can you imagine the seed raising a preverbal hand before it is fed through the depulper?
God Almighty, like the farmer is sovereign over the process that we will go through both individually and corporately.
God is more than capable of making decisions for our lives that will develop in us the flavor notes of His nature. Why is it that we often times raise our hands in protest against said processes?
Do we trust His character? Do we trust His judgment? Do we trust our lives in His hands?
Regardless of our level of trust, God IS trustworthy. His ways are perfect and He knows just the situations and circumstances to pass us through in order to strip away the old life of the flesh, to expose the inner life of the spirit.
Out of Job's confusion and misery his "friends" try to bring "comfort" and clarity to his situation because they just don't think that God would allow Job to go through such a drastic process of suffering and lose. However, God speaks to him, shining light on who He is rather than the circumstance that Job has found himself reeling from.
"Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Dress for action like a man;
I will question you, and you make it known to me.
"Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
Tell me, if you have understanding.
Who determined its measurements --
surely you know!
Or who stretched the line upon it?
On what were its bases sunk,
or who laid its cornerstone,
when the morning stars sang together
and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
Or who shut in the sea with doors
when it burst out from the womb,
when I made clouds its garment
and thick darkness its swaddling
band,
and prescribe limits for it
and set bars and doors,
and said, "This far shall you come, and no
farther,
and here shall your proud waves be
stayed?
"Have you commanded the morning since
your days began,
and caused the dawn to know its place,
that it might take hold of the skirts of the
earth,
and the wicked be shaken out of it?
It is changed like clay under the seal,
and its features stand out like a garment.
He goes on to ask Job question after question:
Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades
or loose the cords of Orion?
Can you lead forth Mazzaroth in their
season,
or can you guide the Bear with its
children?
Do you know the ordinances of the heavens?
Can you establish their rule on the
earth?
Can you lift up your voice to the clouds,
that a flood of waters may cover you?
...
Who has put wisdom in the inward parts
or given understanding to the mind?
The Lord goes on to describe His great sovereignty over all of creation and inquire of Job,
"Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty?
He who argues with God, let him answer it."
Job realizes just who he is talking to
when he places his hand on his mouth;
"Behold, I am of small account;
what shall I answer you?
I lay my hand on my mouth.
I have spoken once,
and I will not answer;
twice, but I will proceed no further."
In our depulping process we cry out to God as if He does not know what He is allowing in our lives but He is wise beyond our comprehension and He is faultless although so many of us want to find fault with God and contend with Him about what He allows in our lives.
Father, help us to trust Your sovereign hand over the process that You are putting us through in this hour. Give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation and knowledge of Jesus, that we would see Your great hand directing the course of our lives and rest in Your leadership, not grumbling or questioning but pressing into the wheels that we think are destroying us but are actually refining us and making us into a pleasing drink offering for You!
