This time of year for the gardener is one of excitement and patient expectation. Each morning brings the delight of new growth. Flowers abound with their brilliant kaleidoscope of colors and the majesty of the garden causes the viewer to rejoice in God's handiwork. This patience, this waiting for it until we receive it is reflective of the way we are encouraged, by James, to patiently wait on the coming of the Lord.
