Our Lives Are To Be Driven and Powered by the Wind of His Spirit

How useless they would be if it weren't for the wind.
How useless we would be unless we are driven by His Spirit!
As believers, we have a great mystery revealed to us and that is Christ lives inside us! The Holy Spirit wants to be the driving shaft of our lives!
So many times we try to drive our own lives. We ignore the Spirit as He directs us to wait on Him and drive forward trying to work things out in our own strength.
Jesus explained to Nicodemus, in John 3, the importance of being born again and relying on the Spirit to do the work.
"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again.
The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."
Our lives are not our own, yet we try to move forward and have our being in so many other things but God's desire is for us to live and move and have our being in Him.
The God of the universe lives inside of His people tabernacling with us each and every moment of our lives! He desires for us to watch and wait for His leading!
The God who made the world and everything in it,
being Lord of heaven and earth,
does not live in temples made by man,
nor is he served by human hands,
as though he needed anything,
since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.
And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth,
having determined allotted periods and
boundaries of their dwelling place,
that they should seek God,
and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him.
Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for
"In him we live and move and have our being; ... "For we are indeed his offspring."
When our lives rest in the provision of His power and we allow the wind of His Spirit to drive our lives, not knowing where He will move us next but simply resting in His guidance, we are right in His will.
The Holy Spirit works mightily in and through the lives of His people! He teaches and corrects and ever points to Jesus! We must rely on Him and seek Him to be the driving force of our lives and not try to do things in our own strength.
As we desire to build His kingdom here on earth let us not forget the encouragement that Zechariah received about Zerubbabel as he laid the foundation of the house of God.
Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,
says the LORD of hosts.
Lord, we shout for grace today that our lives would be fueled by You driving our lives in the direction of the wind of Your Spirit so that people will know that You have sent us!
